Privacy notice

Tellfully is operated by Levine Technology Solutions, Inc. Contact support@tellfully.com about privacy, access, correction, or deletion requests.
Account and service information
We process account email addresses, profile and workspace information, password authentication records, form configurations, subscription information, and operational records to provide and protect the service. Tellfully uses AI tools, including Anthropic’s Claude, to help operate the service, including account administration. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; Tellfully does not ask visitors to speak payment details.
Emails to workspace owners and administrators
We email workspace owners about their account and access: verification and password links, a welcome message, and service notices before a trial or Charter Member period ends. Owners also get a few setup emails with a useful next step, such as installing and testing their form, a note when a visitor first uses Tellfully on it, and a monthly report with counts of what visitors did on their forms. These emails never include visitors’ answers, contact details or form names. Every setup email and monthly report has a link to turn tips and monthly reports off, and owners can turn them off or back on in their workspace under Settings. Service notices about access are still sent. When an agency or web designer sets up a workspace for a business, that workspace’s monthly report also goes to its administrators. That report’s footer shows the address it was sent to, so the agency can forward it, and each person can turn it off for themselves the same way. Links in these emails go straight to Tellfully. We don’t track opens or use tracked links; when a signed-in recipient opens their workspace from a monthly report, we record that once for that report. We keep a copy of each email for 30 days and a record that it was sent, and we keep your email choice.
Visitor conversations
Tellfully processes the answers and conversation text needed to complete a form. Standalone inquiries are saved for the business that owns the form. With existing-form assistance, answers are used to fill the business’s original form, which the visitor reviews and submits separately. Temporary conversation data is processed by Tellfully even when no standalone inquiry is created. The business is responsible for its own use of submissions and its privacy notice.
Voice and service providers
Live voice is processed by Google Gemini. Where browser voice is used, the browser’s speech service may process voice. Hosting, database, email, payment, and any connections selected by the business also process information needed for their functions. Optional connections may include CRMs, Google Calendar, address checking, and Twilio calls.
Audio recording is not currently offered. Transcripts and captured answers are distinct from audio recordings. Avoid speaking payment details or government identifiers; automated masking cannot identify every sensitive detail.
Charter Member applications
When you apply to become a Charter Member, we collect your name, email address, business name, the address of your website form, and your answers about your trade, form platform, form volume and website access, plus any notes you add. We use them to review your application and contact you about the program. Tellfully uses AI tools, including Anthropic’s Claude, to help review applications. Product news is sent only if you choose it, and you can unsubscribe by replying. We keep applications for up to 12 months after the program ends, or delete them sooner on request. We don’t visit or check your form when you apply.
Retention and deletion
Demo conversations expire after 30 minutes. Conversation recovery is available in the same browser tab for up to 24 hours where supported. Workspace owners choose retention for inquiries and transcripts; a setting of zero retains them until deleted. Previously stored recordings remain subject to their configured expiry. Acquisition milestones are retained for up to 90 days. Usage and operational records may remain separately from deleted inquiries.
Deleting data in Tellfully does not remove copies previously delivered to another system or immediately erase backups. Account and workspace deletion controls are available in Account. When a workspace or account is deleted, we keep it for up to 30 days so it can be restored on request, then permanently erase it. We may need to verify your identity and the relevant business’s authority before fulfilling a request.
Browser storage and measurement
We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, saved drafts, conversation recovery, preferences, acquisition attribution, and experiment assignment. On tellfully.com this includes the visitor identifier and campaign tags described below. Acquisition and form experiments measure activity such as visits, starts, and completions. Blocking or clearing browser storage may limit these features.
Traffic and acquisition analytics
Analytics on tellfully.com is automatic; there is no preference prompt. We use PostHog to count page views by page category and referring domain and to understand how visitors move through the site. The same random visitor identifier stays in your browser across visits and is sent with your page views and site activity; each visit restarts its 12-month clock, and it is replaced with a new one if you don’t return within that time. When you sign up, it is linked to your account, connecting your earlier visits on tellfully.com to the account in our analytics. Campaign tags from the address you arrived on (such as utm_source) and an advertising click identifier are kept in your browser for 90 days. The stored tags and click identifier are sent to us only when you sign up, start signing in with Google, or apply to the Charter Member program — never with ordinary page views. We keep them only when that creates a new account or application; signing in to an existing account keeps nothing new. If you arrived from an ad and then sign up or apply, we keep the click identifier, your IP address, and your browser type together with your account or application for up to 90 days, so we can measure our advertising (see Advertising measurement and your choices); we then delete them. Signup and the Charter application also offer an optional “How did you hear about Tellfully?” question, which we keep for reporting. The option you choose is included in our analytics; any text you type for “Other” is not. PostHog receives page categories, referring domains, campaign tags, and pseudonymous identifiers; it never receives full page URLs, query strings, or your IP address. The widget on businesses’ websites keeps its own optional analytics, off until you allow it, and honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. We do not send form answers, contact details, transcripts, audio, or screen recordings to PostHog.
Separately, we measure server-side service milestones, payments, estimated usage costs, and delivery reliability. These operational records do not depend on browser analytics. Analytics exports contain limited event metadata and pseudonymous identifiers. Contact us to request access or deletion of associated analytics records.
Advertising measurement and your choices
We advertise Tellfully on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). If you arrive from one of our ads and then create an account, we tell that company when you verify your email, start a trial, set up a form or make your first payment, so we can see which ads work. We send the ad click identifier, the milestone and its time, the amount of a first payment, and a scrambled (SHA-256 hashed) copy of your sign-up email address. For Meta we also send the IP address and browser type recorded when you signed up. We never send form answers, your visitors' details, transcripts or audio. Some US state laws treat this as "sharing" personal information for advertising. We don't send it if your browser sent a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal when you signed up, if you used the "Do not sell or share my personal information" link, or if your browser's time zone or your connection shows that you signed up from the EU, the UK or Switzerland. You can opt out at any time with that link (while signed in, or the next time you sign in on the same browser) or by emailing us. We then stop sending and delete the identifiers stored with your account. Click identifiers, the hashed email and browser details are deleted 90 days after sign-up. Google and Meta handle what we send under their own terms.
We also use Meta’s pixel, a script from Meta that runs in your browser, on our public website pages only: the home page (including pricing), Try it, the Charter Member page, the industry pages, Compatibility and sign-up, plus the email verification page. It tells Meta that you viewed one of those pages, that you verified your email after signing up, or that you sent a Charter Member application. The last two carry a coded identifier (never your email or account details) that we also use if we report the same milestone from our servers, so Meta doesn’t count it twice. Meta receives the address of the page (including campaign tags and Meta’s ad click identifier), your IP address, browser details and its own cookies, such as _fbp, which Meta may use to connect the visit to a Facebook or Instagram account. It never receives your email address, form answers or anything you type, and we turn off Meta’s automatic event collection. The pixel never runs in the Tellfully app, sign-in or account pages, or on forms we power on businesses’ websites. It doesn’t load at all if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, if you used the “Do not sell or share my personal information” link in this browser, or if your browser’s time zone or your connection shows that you’re in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, and the verification page doesn’t report a sign-up that was opted out of advertising measurement. If you arrived from a Meta ad and then sign up, we keep the _fbp value with your account so we can match the milestones above; it is deleted with the click identifier.
This browser is opted out of advertising measurement. Workspaces you own are opted out too. Sign in on this browser to opt out a workspace you own.
Security and changes
We use access controls and encryption for stored service data. No service can guarantee perfect security. We will update this notice when service practices change. For questions about a business’s follow-up or its original website form, contact that business directly.
